After the pots you have made have dried completely and undergone a bisque firing, it is time to prepare them for the next step, glazing.
Each item needs to be dust free in order for the glaze to fully adhere to the body of the item. This is also a good time to smooth any sharp areas. So with a wet sponge the slow process of wiping the pots begins. Once all the pots have been wiped then they will need to be fully dry before being glazed. This is so the piece can absorb the required amount of water the glaze is suspended in.
